What you will do

Scope management

  • You create a security vision for the short, medium, and long term, balancing the highest level of protection (for freight and people) with the lowest cost, and you validate it with management;
  • You organize, manage, and supervise all security company activities, as well as the security equipment and systems implemented in the stores;
  • You're in charge of overseeing extraordinary occurrences (threats, attacks, bombing, criminal networks, thefts) from a security standpoint;
  • You are in charge of all security solutions (human security and technical equipment) for new store openings, including budgeting, contracting, executing, and controlling them;
  • You develop and send various reports and analyses about the security domain regularly  and as needed.

Quality management

  • You establish, present for authorization, and implement work practices to increase security in all stores, taking into account Romanian legislation as well as the uniqueness of each activity;
  • You are in charge of maintaining security strategies and risk assessments under Romanian law;
  • You uncover risks and vulnerabilities that may put people or products in jeopardy and provide solutions to effectively manage them;
  • You conduct on-site and remote controls in LMRO stores to verify compliance with internal security protocols;
  • You regularly conduct on-site security equipment and system status checks.

Networking and team management  

  • You collaborate with store representatives, Performance Leaders and Regional Performance Leaders, as well as security firms, to maintain an optimal degree of security in LMRO stores;
  • You take part in internal investigations, such as acquiring evidence from CCTV storage and following current legislation;
  • You collaborate with relevant individuals to develop an annual theft reduction plan, you continuously monitor it and are responsible for its proper execution to reduce unknown standouts;
  • You inform management about serious security breaches and suggest risk-reduction strategies.

Budget management

  • You create a yearly security budget and key performance indicators (KPIs). You also track them over time using financial variance analysis and corrective actions.

Emergency situations

  • According to current legislation - OMAI 75 - you organize, plan, and direct operations related to Emergency Situations;
  • You're in charge of dealing with extraordinary events (fires, earthquakes, etc.) from an emergency management standpoint.

What we want you to have 

  • Education – Bachelor’s degree;
  • Work Experience 
  • at least 5 years of security management (retail is considered an advantage);
  • at least 3 years of supervisory experience;
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • security regulations;
  • security and good network connections in the field;
  • Google Suite /Ms Office, Email, Internet ;
  • Deep knowledge of:
  • physical security infrastructure components and applicability and software, such as CCTV, Access Control and Burglary, Perimeter Controls, Human Detection;
  • Skills:
  • confidence and authority;
  • organization, communication, and efficiency;
  • leadership and interpersonal;
  • decision-making abilities;
  •  strong analytical and planning abilities;
  • English (or French) language –  fluent, both written and spoken;
  • Ability to travel for work purposes – driving license;
  • Ability to act under pressure and handle responsibilities;
  • Work Attitude – a communicative, competent, polite, problem solver.
